If you lose electricity to part of your home or business, first check your electrical panel. Look for any tripped breakers inside your electrical panel. If you are in a larger commercial building you may have multiple panels to look in. To determine a tripped breaker, look for one that is in the middle position, or one that has orange or red in the small viewing window on it. If everything looks good there, my recommendation would be to look around for a GFCI receptacle that may have tripped. GFCI receptacles are the ones with the little buttons in the middle. They will typically be in garages, kitchens, bathrooms, outdoors, and laundry areas. Ensure the reset button is fully pushed in. When these troubleshooting techniques have been exhausted and you still are missing power to part of your home or business give us a call and we will come out as soon as we can to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair your issue. Most of these problems can be taken care of in the first hour of a service call.
